Whenever you have left over food, garbage or dirty areas of your property, you are opening yourself up for a potential pest invasion. Rats, mice and cockroaches are the most common and are attracted to food sources. They bread very quickly and the problem can soon get out of control. Setting traps and bait is the best and cheapest remedy but having pets in your home is also a good replant. For ants and termites, you can set bait by leaving untreated wood chippings in locations around your home – they will use this as a food source and will stop them eating into the wooden structure of your home. Fox urine and borax acid are useful over the counter remedies if the problem persists but if you are ever unsure, you should contact a professional immediately to ensure proper eradication which could save you a lot of money in the long run.
